Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how MY FRONT YARD ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://myfrontyardhoa.com (the "Site"). It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, the choices you have, and your rights — including specific rights for California residents.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information more broadly.
By using the Site, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy, except for cookies that require your prior consent where applicable. You can manage your preferences at any time (see Section 7).
---
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more efficient, and to provide reporting information to site owners.
We also use similar technologies that function like cookies, including:
- Browser storage — data stored in your browser (for example, to remember your place in a visit) that is not a traditional cookie and is not transmitted with every request.
Throughout this policy, we use the word "cookies" to refer to all of these technologies.
Cookies may be:
- First-party — set by us, on our Site's domain.
- Third-party — set by another company whose technology runs on our Site.
- Session cookies — temporary; deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) pixel, or any comparable third-party tracking or advertising technology on this Site. Everything described below is first-party.
---
3. Why we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- Operate the Site and keep it secure;
- Remember your settings and preferences;
- Understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it;
- Measure which of our own marketing campaigns bring people to the Site.
---
4. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories. Everything listed below is first-party — set by us, on our own domain.
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block them, but some parts of the Site may not work. These cookies do not require consent.
| Cookie / technology | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication session | Keeps you signed in to your account area | First-party | Session |
| Consent preferences | Remembers your cookie choices | First-party (browser storage) | Until you clear it |
4.2 Functional / preference cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality, such as remembering a scheduling or video widget's settings. If you do not allow them, some embedded features may not work properly.
| Cookie / technology | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embedded scheduling / video widgets | Loads third-party scheduling and video embeds when you choose to use them, and remembers their playback or display settings | Third-party (only when you enable this category) | Session – 12 months |
4.3 Analytics / performance cookies
We measure Site usage without cookies. Our analytics are first-party and do not identify you, do not follow you across other websites, and do not store your IP address. We record which pages are viewed, roughly where visits come from, and which links are followed, so we can improve the Site.
| Cookie / technology | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
v2_analytics_session | Groups the pages you view into a single visit for traffic reporting | First-party (browser session storage) | Cleared when you close the tab |
v2_campaign_attribution | Remembers which campaign or link you arrived from, so an enquiry you send during the same visit can be credited to it | First-party (browser session storage) | Cleared when you close the tab |
4.4 Marketing cookies
We use one first-party cookie to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing. We do not use advertising networks, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not show you targeted ads on other websites.
| Cookie / technology | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
v2_cl | Records which of our campaign links you arrived through, so we can measure which campaigns and channels are working. Set only if you accept marketing cookies. | First-party | 90 days |
---
5. Third-party cookies and services
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising providers on this Site.
Some pages offer optional embedded content — for example a scheduling widget or a video player. These load only when you use them or when you have enabled the functional category, and they may set their own cookies governed by that provider's privacy policy. Where an embed is present, we identify the provider at the point of use.
---
6. How long do cookies stay on my device?
Session cookies and browser session storage are cleared when you close your browser or tab. Persistent cookies remain for the duration shown in the tables above, or until you delete them. You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings (see Section 7).
---
7. Your choices: managing cookies
You have several ways to control or limit cookies:
Cookie banner / preference center. When you first visit the Site, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time via the "Manage cookies" link in the Site footer. Analytics are cookieless by default, so declining does not reduce the usefulness of the Site.
Browser controls. Most browsers let you view, manage, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Helpful links:

Blocking all cookies may affect how the Site works.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). We recognize the Global Privacy Control signal. If you enable GPC in a supported browser or extension, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser and device, as described in Section 8.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, but we do honor GPC as described above.

8. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information.
We do not sell or share your personal information. Under California law, "sale" includes disclosing personal information to a third party for valuable consideration, and "sharing" includes disclosing it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising networks or third-party trackers on this Site, and we do not disclose personal information collected through cookies to third parties for either purpose. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
Your rights. Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:
- Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
- Delete personal information we have collected from you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, should we ever engage in it; and
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny services, charge a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your rights.
How to exercise your rights. To submit a request to know, delete, correct, or limit, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will verify your request before responding, as required by law, and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
